Program overview

The Food Tourism graduate certificate program addresses the intersection of gastronomy, culture, wine, food traditions, and tourism development. As food and beverage accounts for a major portion of global tourism expenditure, this program prepares recent graduates and industry professionals to manage food tourism enterprises, create local culinary travel experiences, and work with tourism boards, cultural sites, and community food hubs. The curriculum emphasizes entrepreneurial skill-building, social justice, equity, and sustainable access within local and global food systems.
