Program overview
The Enhanced Practice for Internationally Educated Nurses two-year graduate certificate program is designed for experienced internationally educated nurses holding a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Aligning with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) professional standards and entry-to-practice competencies for Registered Nurses, the curriculum prepares students to transition into the Canadian healthcare system with a clinical focus on senior care across the continuum of care.
Students build critical inquiry, clinical assessment, care planning, and evidence-informed decision-making skills through state-of-the-art simulation suites and active lab environments. The program includes over 400 placement hours across medicine, surgery, complex continuing care, and long-term care settings, as well as dedicated NCLEX and OSCE preparation courses to support nursing registration.
