Program overview

The Nutrition and Food Service Management two-year diploma program—accredited by the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM)—combines theory, simulations, and hands-on practice in Conestoga College’s Nutrition & Public Health Foodservice lab. The curriculum prepares students to work alongside registered dietitians and healthcare professionals as nutrition managers. Students build management skills and expertise in nutrition care and foodservice operations to prepare for roles in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community settings. Graduates meet the education requirements for CSNM membership, which is mandatory for foodservice management positions in Ontario healthcare settings.
