Program overview
The Bachelor of Environmental Public Health (BEPH) is an honours four-year degree program (including one co-op term) accredited by the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI). Grounded in the “One Health” framework, the program focuses on disease prevention, environmental risk exposure and assessment, toxicology, epidemiology, and public health advocacy. Students use technology—including inspection management systems—and engage in experiential learning to build critical thinking, leadership, and inter-professional skills. Graduates are prepared for public and private sector careers as Environmental Public Health Professionals (EPHPs).
