Program overview
The Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) – Financial Services four-year degree program prepares students for careers across banking, insurance, investment management, and estate and financial planning. Combining active learning, real-world case analysis, and direct industry interaction, students develop analytical skills alongside professional communication and client-service capabilities.
In the second half of the program, students specialize in one of two majors: Financial Planning or Property and Casualty Insurance. The program includes an 8-month paid, full-time co-op work term between the third and fourth years, allowing students to gain practical experience before graduation.
