Program overview
The Specialized Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology explores the scientific principles underlying human movement, including anatomy, human physiology, exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control, ergonomics, and exercise prescription.
Through mandatory fieldwork internships and a fourth-year research thesis, students apply these core principles across three key focus areas: rehabilitation, ergonomics, and gerontology. The program prepares graduates for direct entry into kinesiology careers or further professional studies in medicine, physiotherapy, chiropractic care, disability management, or graduate research. Students also have the opportunity to participate in an exchange program with the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.
