Advanced College Diploma – Electrical Engineering Technology (3823) (Optional Co-op)

The Electrical Engineering Technology advanced diploma program provides a thorough foundation in electrical engineering applications across multiple industrial sectors. Through classroom theory, lab exercises, and simulated workplace assignments, students develop practical expertise in designing, adapting, analyzing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and installing electrical systems. The curriculum emphasizes industry safety protocols, relevant codes, and standard engineering practices.

Graduates are prepared for technical roles across diverse sectors, including energy generation and petroleum, manufacturing, construction, telecommunications, IT networks, and intelligent building systems.

Academic Qualification: Grade 12 / High School completion.

Minimum GPA: 50.0%

Conditional Admission: Available for applicants who complete English language courses prior to starting their main academic program (duration based on entry language test results).

1. Entrance Scholarships (Centennial College - All campuses)
Value: $2,000 – $5,000 CAD (automatically applied for eligible international students).

Award Breakdown:

1-year program: $2,000 CAD (Year 1)

2-year program: $3,000 CAD ($2,000 in Year 1, $1,000 in Year 2)

3-year program: $4,000 CAD ($2,000 in Year 1, $1,000 in Years 2 & 3)

4-year program: $5,000 CAD ($2,000 in Year 1, $1,000 in Years 2, 3 & 4)

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to all nationalities.

Must be an international student starting their first main academic program at Centennial College (May 2026, September 2026, or January 2027 intake).

Exclusion: Second-program students, existing scholarship recipients, new ELL-only students, tuition-exempt students, and deferred applicants without study permits are ineligible.

2. International Mobility Scholarship (Centennial College - All campuses)
Value: $3,000 – $7,000 CAD (Total $3,000 awarded over 3 years; reaches up to $7,000 CAD when combined with the Entrance Scholarship).

Award Breakdown:

$1,000 CAD per year for 3 years.

A total of 90 scholarships available for Winter 2027 intake.

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to non-resident, non-citizen international students.

Fully accepted into Year 1 of a 3-Year Advanced Diploma program.

Minimum OSSD 70% or equivalent required.
