Program overview
The Insurance Management two-semester graduate certificate program, offered by The Business School, prepares college and university graduates for specialist, supervisory, and managerial careers in the property and casualty insurance sector. The curriculum covers core functions such as claims investigation, loss adjusting, underwriting, and insurance brokering.
The program includes seven of the ten insurance industry-specific courses permitted by the Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC), offering a direct pathway toward the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. Graduates can complete the remaining three courses independently through the IIC to obtain their professional designation.
