Advanced College Diploma – Software Engineering Technology – Fast Track (Optional Co-op) (3429)

The Software Engineering Technology (Fast-Track) program offers qualified college or university graduates with a software background direct admission into Year 2 (Semester 3) of this three-year program to earn an advanced diploma in two years (four semesters). Students learn to design, develop, and maintain software systems through programming languages, design and algorithm concepts, enterprise programming, mobile computing, and software security. Coursework covers C#, Java, Java EE, Python, .NET Core, SQL/Oracle databases, web frameworks (HTML5/JavaScript/Angular), cloud computing, and data mining. The curriculum includes two applied software development projects and offers an optional co-op stream featuring two work terms.

Academic Qualification: Undergraduate Diploma completion.

Minimum GPA: 50.0%

Conditional Admission: Available for applicants who do not meet language proficiency requirements by completing English courses prior to the academic program (length determined by English level).

1. Entrance Scholarships (Centennial College - All campuses)
Value: $2,000 – $5,000 CAD (automatically applied for eligible international students).

Award Breakdown:

1-year program: $2,000 CAD (Year 1)

2-year program: $3,000 CAD ($2,000 in Year 1, $1,000 in Year 2)

3-year program: $4,000 CAD ($2,000 in Year 1, $1,000 in Years 2 & 3)

4-year program: $5,000 CAD ($2,000 in Year 1, $1,000 in Years 2, 3 & 4)

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to all nationalities.

Must be an international student starting their first main academic program at Centennial College (May 2026, September 2026, or January 2027 intake).

Exclusion: Second-program students, existing scholarship recipients, new ELL-only students, tuition-exempt students, and deferred applicants without study permits are ineligible.

2. International Mobility Scholarship (Centennial College - All campuses)
Value: $3,000 – $7,000 CAD (Total $3,000 awarded over 3 years; reaches up to $7,000 CAD when combined with the Entrance Scholarship).

Award Breakdown:

$1,000 CAD per year for 3 years.

A total of 90 scholarships available for Winter 2027 intake.

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to non-resident, non-citizen international students.

Fully accepted into Year 1 of a 3-Year Advanced Diploma program.

Minimum OSSD 70% or equivalent required.
