Advanced College Diploma – Mechanical Engineering Technology – Design (Optional Co-op) (3703)

The Mechanical Engineering Technology – Design program combines engineering theory and practice, focusing on the design and development of mechanical devices and equipment. Students build a thorough foundation in engineering sciences and industry-standard skills such as computer-assisted drafting and manufacturing (CAD/CAM). Approximately one-quarter of the program is dedicated to project work that simulates workplace assignments, connecting classroom theory to the actual design, manufacture, and testing of projects, including an introduction to finite element analysis using ANSYS software.

Conditional Admission: Available for applicants who do not meet language proficiency requirements by completing English courses prior to the academic program (length determined by English level).

1. Entrance Scholarships (Centennial College - All campuses)
Value: $2,000 – $5,000 CAD (automatically applied for eligible international students).

Award Breakdown:

1-year program: $2,000 CAD (Year 1)

2-year program: $3,000 CAD ($2,000 in Year 1, $1,000 in Year 2)

3-year program: $4,000 CAD ($2,000 in Year 1, $1,000 in Years 2 & 3)

4-year program: $5,000 CAD ($2,000 in Year 1, $1,000 in Years 2, 3 & 4)

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to all nationalities.

Must be an international student starting their first main academic program at Centennial College (May 2026, September 2026, or January 2027 intake).

Exclusion: Second-program students, existing scholarship recipients, new ELL-only students, tuition-exempt students, and deferred applicants without study permits are ineligible.

2. International Mobility Scholarship (Centennial College - All campuses)
Value: $3,000 – $7,000 CAD (Total $3,000 awarded over 3 years; reaches up to $7,000 CAD when combined with the Entrance Scholarship).

Award Breakdown:

$1,000 CAD per year for 3 years.

A total of 90 scholarships available for Winter 2027 intake.

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to non-resident, non-citizen international students.

Fully accepted into Year 1 of a 3-Year Advanced Diploma program.

Minimum OSSD 70% or equivalent required.
