Program overview
The 3D Drafting and 3D Printing one-year (two-term) Ontario College Certificate program provides hands-on technical skills in computer-aided design (CAD) drafting, 3D modeling, and additive manufacturing.
Students learn to read blueprints and schematics, translate technical requirements into 3D CAD models, and execute end-to-end 3D prints using cloud-based drafting software and Conestoga’s specialized multi-faceted 3D Printing Lab. The curriculum prepares graduates for entry-level technician roles in industrial manufacturing or for establishing 3D printing entrepreneurial ventures.
