Program overview
The Business Administration – Accounting (Accelerated) program is delivered over two calendar years, offering the same learning outcomes as the traditional three-year advanced diploma. Designed as an efficient bridge into the Accounting, Audit and Information Technology (AAIT) degree program, graduates who maintain a 70% overall average receive credit for the first two years of the AAIT degree, starting in September with two co-op terms (with potential credit awarded for prior work experience). The curriculum equips students with technical skills in financial analysis, planning and control, internal control system design, management accounting, tax return preparation, and financial statement production to prepare them for intermediate accounting roles and future managerial advancement.
