Order Picker with Forklift License

• Pick and pull orders accurately from pick tickets, work orders or a handheld scanner/WMS
• Operate counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks and order pickers to retrieve products from racking at height
• Pick HVAC products such as furnaces, AC condensers, air handlers, ductwork, fittings, grilles, registers, copper line sets and accessories
• Check that picked items match orders by part number, model and quantity
• Stage, wrap, label and secure orders for shipping, customer pickup or delivery trucks
• Load and unload trucks and containers, and receive incoming shipments
• Put away stock in its assigned location and replenish pick locations
• Take part in cycle counts and report damaged, missing or incorrect products
• Do daily pre-use forklift inspections and report any defects
• Keep aisles, racking and the warehouse clean, organized and safe
• Follow health and safety procedures, including safe load handling and PPE use

• Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: [1 year] of warehouse order picking or material handling experience
• Valid forklift operator certificate (counterbalance and/or reach truck) is required
• Ability to read pick tickets, part numbers and labels accurately
• Able to lift up to [50 lbs / 23 kg] and stand and walk for long periods
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Language: English
• Assets: Experience with HVAC or building supply products, RF scanner/WMS experience, WHMIS training
