• Load, unload and move materials such as sheet metal, ductwork, pipes, fittings, furnaces and AC units, by hand or with dollies and pallet jacks
• Help machine operators and sheet metal workers by feeding materials, removing finished parts and stacking components
• Do simple assembly work such as attaching fittings, sealing ducts, and installing insulation and hangers
• Sort, label and package finished products for shipping or job sites
• Prepare and load materials and tools for installation crews
• Assist technicians on job sites by carrying equipment, holding parts in place and cleaning up work areas
• Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, snips, crimpers and rivet guns under supervision
• Clean and maintain the shop, warehouse, tools and equipment
• Remove scrap metal and debris and sort recyclables
• Follow health and safety procedures and wear required PPE

• Education: No formal education required; a secondary school diploma is an asset
• Experience: Will train; experience in construction, warehouse or manufacturing is an asset
• Able to lift up to [50 lbs / 23 kg] and stand, bend and kneel for long periods
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
• Language: English

Work Conditions

Physically demanding work in a shop or warehouse, and on job sites when required
May work in a noisy environment and in hot or cold conditions
